Jadems Guardian Angel

CH. LAZYD Pretty In Pink @Jadem

Cienna was taken from us on 08/06/09. She was far to young to die, so full of life, so full of love, and by no means ready to go.  We were by no means ready to say goodbye either. We learned Cienna had bone marrow cancer shortly after doing her permanent health testing, she left us three short months later. Cienna was the laughter in our home, the light in our lives, she was so much fun and such a joy to have. Her favorite past time was swimming in our pool and her and my youngest daughter Jamie could always be found playing there. She was the best companion and the most loving mother to her babies. She left us with a gorgeous litter of 11 for which we are so thankful to have. Cienna meant the world to us and not a day goes by when we dont think of her and miss her. Our lives havent been the same and our home is missing the light and laughter it once had when she was here with us. Cancer is a horrible awful disease that took her soul in the night. She went from a very happy, silly, normal two year old to needing help with everything for normal daily function in such a very short time.  The day had come when Cienna had an un-explanable look in her eyes, and we knew it was time to end her pain for her. Saying goodbye was the hardest thing our family has ever gone through. She meant so much to all of us, and we will never stop missing her. We loved her way to much to let her hurt anymore. We feel so very, very blessed each day to be able to love and kiss her beautiful children she left behind. Kissing their sweet wrinkle faces is like kissing her again each day. I have a reason now to go to heaven when its my time, and thats to see her again. We love and miss you more than words each and every day my sweet CC! Rest in peace baby girl, until we see you again.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Now I lay her down to sleep, I pray the lord her soul to keep....until the day we meet again, I pray her memories make me whole again.

Little Dorrit joined her mother Cienna at the rainbow bridge in 2010 shortly after turning one. Dorrit lived with her brother Oliver and their human parents Jaye & Bob. Dorrits passing was very sudden and very unexpected. Dorrit was the runt in our litter of 11 from Cienna and Zahar and had a very ruff start at life and lived a very short one with a family whom loved her more than words. She is greatly missed....rest in peace little angel, we all love you very much.
